Women Who Are Shaping the World1 of 5 Robin Roberts From college basketball star to ESPN host to coanchor of “Good Morning America,” Roberts knows how to work her way to the main stage. She’s traveled to Africa with former President Clinton to bring viewers a firsthand look at the crippling AIDS crisis. In March of 2007, Roberts published her first book, “From the Heart: Seven Rules to Live By,” explaining how success is not a source of magic. If she can do it, so can you. I agree with many comments that were made. Robin Roberts and all the other uplifting women are beautiful inside out. We should, as women, be supportive to this cause to bring more positive enlightment to the Black American Female culture. I do wish the price was more affordable for me, but the price may be that expensive for a reason. We just have to be opened minded about this event. |

This summit seems like an amazing experience, even though the cost is prohibitive to some. Check with local or regional organizations for similar conventions and gatherings that may provide scholarships, or you could fundraise to help gather support for attendance. |

Interesting choice of women for this Leadership Summit. Unfortunately I am not motivated by anything that Robin Roberts(who sits back and says nothing when racist comments are made on GMA) Juanita Bynum (who obviously still has much more learning and growing to do on her own first) Nor Star Jones (who is private to the point of being untruthful) have to say. |

these conferences are a wonderful thing but often what I see is the price is sometimes not affordable for all working class women trying to elevate to that next level. I am not looking for free, I live in Indy and with the cost of the conference, travel and hotel a few us would not be able to make it. |

I am so proud of Prophetess Bynum. She is a blessing from GOD. He created her to do HIS works. Her book intitled My Sprirual Inheritance made my life move in a different direction, not to mention her first sermon...No More Sheets. She gave herself to us. We should not be so judgemental, but some of us are. We live and learn. She has the faith, strength, grace and beauty that will lead her right through the Pearly Gates. I hope to see you there. May GOD continue to pour HIS annointing into her spirit. |

I am amazed at how judgmental people can be. It's amazing to hear how this segment is about uplifting women and yet women are making comments to tear down another sister. Must we forget that there were plenty of women inspired by Juanita Bynum before the controversy and some women changed their lives because of it. She still made a difference. I'm sure if we aired some of the dirty laundry of the people with the negative comments, we probably wouldn't want to hear what you have to say. But nevertheless, I am glad God is the judge and not people because non of us would make it. Let he without sin cast the first stone |

How much would you all be willing to pay for a conference like this?
