I think it's great to see blacks in the republican party. Although I personally don't agree with their views, socially or economically (especially economically), I think it's good to have different ideas coming from different sides. It's healthy to be able to have intelligent discourse with individuals whose views may differ from your own. I think that as black people we should look to any solutions, whether they come from republicans or democrats, that can solve the issues plaguing our communities. If you're not open to at least hearing all possible solutions, you're not really looking to solve anything. A growing number of blacks in the republican party might force the party to bring issues of particular interest to black America to the forefront. Don't know how likely it is, but hey, we can dream. :-)

I am a black teenage republican that supported Obama. I think that the black republicans need to stop attacking Obama and show him show him the proper respect . Why don't they investagate Bush for when he said that the war was a mistake . I am suprised and shamed at the African Americans in the republican party. Let me say Obama is a citizen and Keyes like many other blacks in party are mad . The only one I have respect for now is Powell and Rice .

IT IS AMAZING TO ME THAT A MAN COULD ATTEND A SCHOOL LIKE HARVARD, BECOME A LAWYER IN THIS COUNTRY, SERVE AS A U.S. SENATOR, SERVE TO BETTER THE LIVES OF THE POOR AND MIDDLE CLASS IN THE STATE HE REPRESENTED, BUT THAT IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR SOME PEOPLE, SOME REPUBLICANS. iF WHAT MR KEYES STATED WAS TRUE, WE WON'T HAVE A GEORGE WASHINGTON AS PRESIDENT, HE WAS BORN IN ENGLAND.

Mr. Alan Keyes and Justice Clarence Thomas can be depended upon to do the bidding of those who would keep a foot on the Black man's neck. Mr. Keyes and Justice Thomas need to take their nonsensical gibberish, their "crabs-in-a-can" attitude, their slave mentality, and do America a patriotic service by fading away and riding off into the sunset like the cowboys of yesteryear.

I simply think that keys is bitter to the point that misery loves company. So he says to himself let me stir up some mess knowing that there are some who are already upset that this man won the Presidency fair and square are going to join him in this thinkand try ro make more of this matter than he needs to. Keys, God is not going to let you interfer with His plan. The people have spoken.

Funny thing is blacks were republican when they fell in love with Lincoln but them they changed and some stayed it is there right and they can go for who they want. I think Allen Keys is a bitter man because he could not make the ticket. Get over yourself Keys really

WOW, a whole 15; that says volumes about the racial make-up of the Republican Party.
