Ladies..this isn't an open blog to Eugene..he isn't going to answer your " pleas". Why don't you pick up a phone book or google some hair salons in your area!!?? I'm sure there are plenty salons that cater to healthy hair.. call and ask for a free consultation and find one that meets your needs..

I am a stylist located in Birmingham, AL. I can not tell how delighted I am to see the work that Eugene is doing to educate and encourage women on quality hair care. I am a strong advocate for healthy beautiful hair. Going natural or relaxing hair less frequently is slowing catching fire in my area. Keep up the good work!!!

I live in a town called inverness in florida, and I can't seem to find a quality salon. My neighborhood salons don't cater to black hair. How can I find a good hairdresser?

I HAVE HAD MY HAIR CUT IN 2008 RECENTLY, I HAVE NOT HAD A RELAXER IN 3 MONTHS BECAUSE I WANT TO GROW OUT THE REMAINING RELAXER IN MY HAIR. FROM READING THE MESSAGES HERE, I SEE THAT MANY WOMEN ARE DOING THE SAME BUT WHAT ARE THE DOING INSTEAD OF RELAXING? I NEED ADVICE BECAUSE I AM LOSING HAIR. WOULD IT BE ADVISIBLE TO PURCHASE AN ELECTRIC STRAIGHTENING COMB? THIS HAS HELPED OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS. I NEED HELP. IN THE PAST I HAVE HADTO USE A MILD SENSITIVE KIDDY PERM. I TAKE A LOT OF MEDICATIONS AND SHOULD PROBABLY DRINK MORE WATER FOR ONE AND I AM TRYING TO DO JUST THAT. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR ANY ASSISTANCE THAT YOU CAN GIVE TO ME.

I've been having hair problems. I been wearing braids for awhile and that process had taken my hair out. I also have been using products like Dr. Miracle to fix the problem but I haven't prospered much. I haven't found a stylist that can grow or believes in growing the hair. The stylist is more interested in making the hair look good. I read all your steps and I liked reading them to see what makes the hair healthy so it can grow. I'm a long way from you all the way in Birmingham,Alabama, if you know of any stylists who qualifies to help me with my hair problems. Please e-mail ASAP! Thanks for the information,it was very helpful. You are a stylist who actually cares about how black women hair should be all the time. You made me believe!

I have been very blessed with thick hair (thanks Dad) however, my hair isn't as healthy as it should be and I am having problems with getting it to grow past my neck. I know when I did the "great weave" it messed my hair up abit but I no longer am wearing a weave and I desire my natural hair to grow longer. HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
