WHAT CAN WOMEN DO WHO CAN NOT AFFORD THESE EXPENSIVE PRODUCTS, OR HAVE ALL OF OUR HAIR CARE NEEDS MET BY A STYLIST? I AM SURE MANY OF THE WOMEN WHO WILL READ THIS WILL BECOME DISCOURAGED. NOT ALL OF US HAVE PRIVATE STYLIST SUCH AS BEYONCE' AND SO ON. DON'T FORGET THOSES OF US WHO WOULD LIKE TO BENEFIT FROM THESE SUGGESTION, BUT ALMOST EVERY RULE WAS FOLLLOWED BY "YOUR STYLIST." COME ON ESSENCE, DONT FORGET US TOO. IF I WENT TO THE SALONS LIKE EUGENE SUGGETST, I WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO HAVE A SUBSCIPTION TO YOUR MAGAZINE.

TYPE YOUR MESSAGE HERE I have suffered from a underactive thryroid condition and have hair loss. My medical condition is now being treated and I go to a dermotologist to get scalp treatments at this time . I have started wearing wigs and know that I do not want to continue this practice . I need someone to work on my new growth of hair . It is still thin with some bald patches but better than before the treatment . Can you help me in this next step? I am 62 years old and was told that hair grows slow at my age . I am still very hopeful that my hair can be normal. Please help me.

Hey Eugene, I think my hair issue is a bit different. I have thin hair and so does everyone in my family, I'm guessing it’s inherited. I have some young women in my family who have ball spots and super thin hair for there ages. My hair isn’t that bad off yet but I’m scared in the next 5 years, I’m going to have to where a wig. I pray to have long hair and not have to add weave pieces to my wrap just to give it body and fullness. What can I do to not be balled by the time I’m 30 years of age. Help Help

I have the type of hair that needs a perm monthly or else its very thick and coarse and breaks easily.. I wore a sewn in weave for a year, getting a perm only every 4 months.. My hair grew quickly. Once it got to the lenghth I wanted, I stopped wearing weaves and learned how to wear updos in btwn perms to still stretch out the amount of time btwn perms. My hair is healthy thick and long.
