Having econmoic empowerment is the key to realising those dreams that are deep within our heart. Tyler Perry has shown us that it can be done. He continues to inspire us here in the UK through all of his inspirational movies which show not only a slice of the reality of life but place us on the path to improving our lives everyday. My heart is full of pride in what he has achieved with faith, tenacity and drive.

To see Tyler Perry standing there with Sidney Poitier brings tears of joy to my eyes. It is that pivotal moment in one's lifetime where the hopes of the past meets the dreams of the future. Sidney has always meant a great deal to me, he set the bar so high that few could only aspire to reach it. He was a trailblazer....and now there are two. So to Tyler, take a deep breath and enjoy your success, you have earned it. It just melts my heart to see all those beautiful celebrities have such nice words to say about you. I am sure that you had a few roadblocks on your path to success but I am so elated that you just kept on driving. May God continue to bless you and thanks for showing the little folk that sometimes, we can win in the end.

I have watched all your shows and movies and they were wonderful. I must say Great job,but you are missing one thing, someone like me, I am a 21 year junior in college and I would love to act in one of your plays or movies,but I need to know where can I go to sign up for the role.It gives me hope that al things are possible in life.
