I remember burning my forehead with a hotcomb when I was about 20yrs old...lol...I was rushing to a job interview and my bangs weren't quite right. There I stood in my business suit in the mirror, straightening comb hot as heck, and my going over that patch of hair selected just for my bangs over and over again...and just when I went for the back of the comb twist my hair got tangled up in the comb and fell on my forehead. As I tried to untangle it I touched a hot part of the comb and turned it loose...ouch!!! It laid on my forehead long enough to make a burn looked like a stop sign, especially as it healed...lmao...on top of that my bangs weren't thick enough to hide it....needless to say that was the last time I used astraightening comb...lol
