Solange Knowles is the new face of The Body Shop and MTV’s Staying Alive Foundation Say “Yes, Yes, Yes” to Safe Sex campaign. The 22-year-old “Sol-Angel” is asking young people worldwide to say “Yes” to safe sex. ESSENCE.com had the chance to speak to the budding star and single mother at New York’s Meet at the Apartment where she talks candidly about why she is passionate about this cause, President Obama inspiring her to want to do more, and how she will one day handle having the sex talk with her son Daniel, 5.

I agree that Solange's cd is good. It has a way different viibe than the stuff Big sis puts out. At lease Solange sounds like she is talking to adults and not the 15 and under crowd lol. But then again it's true some people just make music to make money at that's the bottom line

As for chzz, actually I BEG TO DIFFER. Cause actually she is the best person to be a spokesperson. Hate it or love it, it is time people are real with their children. Too m any of us aren't. Some of our children live life looking thriugh rose-colored glasses. And then when life happens, it is a shock to them. If more people told their story, then maybe alot of this could be prevented. But as long as we keep pointing fingers and criticizing, things will remainthe same
