For women looking for skincare products, I would write down a list of how I want my skin to look like before purchasing products. Know what your skin type is. There are a lot of quality products over the counter, like Aveeno, Ambi, Phisoderm, Dove, Loreal...the list goes on. The most important things is having a skincare regimen. We deserve to pamper our skin. I am not an esthetician or a dermatologist but I know a lot about products and what works for my skin. If you are on a budget, check walmart, cvs, wlagreens, etc. Just take the time to do your research and hope the products you chose for your skin type works. If you stay consistent with a regimen, you should see results. Also ladies, it doesn't matter how dark or light we are, we still need SPF protection. I hope this helps. God bless ladies!

I have the same problem. I have a body of an 18yr old but, my face, well, it's terrible. I have acne and black heads and it's embrassing! I have used "everything" from over the counter to the dermetolgoist, my face needs some serious help, what can I do?

I am a 21 yr old African female living in New Zealand. i finish my degree soon and would be out there in the professional world. its bad enough being black skinned so i kinda have to compensate.i have a problem with my facial skin, when i wear make up, i look gorgeous but when i take it out, i look absolutely the opposite.i have blemishes and dark heads, i have used everything possible but my skin still looks tired and dull(without makeup, i look sick). i had an Asian lady call me a monkey for this reason saying i look like a black monkey without makeup on and said hurtful things about my home country. please what can i do to achieve a flawless look without makeup on as i feel truly like a "monkey" when i am not wearing make up. please help this young girl determined to be successful in life despite the colour of her skin.please, my looks wil help me become more confident and then, i could say to myself, "im a beautiful, black and intelligent young lady.thanks in anticipation

Hi, tyra I'm 21 yrs old and as long as i can remeber i have had skin problems wether it's acne or black heads... there's also black marks on my back that i would want to get rid off.. there's also draker areas on my skin that i want to even out... what can i do to prevent acne? Thanks.

I love you Tyra youre such an inspiration to young women i watch your show everyday cause i love the tips that u give an some of them realy do work...however i have a skin problem also my face use to be filled with acne but its finally cleariin up now i jus want to get rid of the scars an dark marks over my body an to get an an even skintone like u an the rest of the celebs with oh so perfect skin i hav tried a few thiings but all dont work..i hav this goldish brownish complexion like most celebs but am darker in some areas i jus want to kno how do yall get this great lookin skin and even skintone please help cuz this is whats in my way of makin me feel beautiful...love you!!

Hi Tyra, I love your show & I think you are a gorgeous woman. I have a problem wit blemishes & facial hairs. My skin is very sensitive, I've tried some over the counter medications as well as prescribed meds. However I'm allergic to benzoyl peroxide so some acne meds doesn't work. PLEASE HELP...I WANT ALMOST FLAWLESS SKIN ;-)
