ACC...there are a few options for you. If you're a MAC girl...then you want to try the Matte Gel. This stuff is the bomb. I fight oily skin and have used this for about 2 years now and it works. You can use it w/ just the MAC Blot pressed or loose powder. The Blot powder will only give a "little" color, but it's not to cover or hide imperfections on the skin. Or, if you need some coverage, use the MAC Studio Fix Pressed w/ the Matte Gel and use the Blot for touch-ups. Always use a brush when touching up. You can dab your skin with tissue then reblot if needed. Frances Williams Makeup Artist/Revelations of Beauty

ACC I think you might want to try MAC's BLOT not the Studio Fix but Blot, I have oily skin as well and I am a believer! It removes the shine but does not deposit color which can leave that caked on look....not cute!

I have oily skin as well and acne prone. I was Sally Hansen Pressed Powder (Deep tone). It works well, often all day when I am at work and 4-5 hours on the weekend.

I'm 33 and I always get compliments on how beautiful & glowng my skin is. I know that a lot of it has to do with genetics but exercise & nutrition also play an important factor. As an African-American woman, one major concern I have is oily, shiny facial skin in the summertime. People tell me all the time that having oily skin is good because your skin doesn't wrinkle as soon. But I would love to keep my skin dewy instead of greasy. I've tried many products and haven't found one that lasts more than a couple hours. If anyone has this same issue & has found a product that works, PLEASE let me know!
