It makes me so proud to see another successful black man who knows that his success is not threatened by having a black woman by his side. Russell is teaching by example and showing our men that the black family is beautiful and more so in the glow of success. That's something many black men didn't give themselves the chance to experience. And, just like Obama is making it to the White House with a beautiful, strong, intelligent black woman (and daughters) on his team more black men will soon realize they don't have to look elsewhere for what they need. |
