I agree with Dawn there are three sides to every story. Chris Brown may have been a victim as well, unfortunatly not to many people are looking at it in this way because she is a woman. I am a woman and I know for a fact that women can put there hands on a man to but no one is asking that. I still admire Chris Brown and I believe he has made a mistake but he is still young this will be a lesson learned.

I do not know what took place in there situation, but i do know there was no reason in the world for chris to put his hands on her. I just can not respect a man who raise him hand at a woman.

98% of the people that want chris in jail are black americans, who supposed to be his brothers and sistersand stand by him. dats good, there goes another minus to the afro american- american populace, dats y i like white pple they always stand by each other through thick and thin. when he does go to jail congrats to those black folks who helped put him there

Like another blogger said, I wasn't there and I don't know the whole story. So I cannot and will not comment on what I don't know. What I do know is that regardless if Rihanna provoked Chris or not, that is no excuse to put your hands on a woman. It is never right to solve a problem with violence; it is better to just walk away. That's what I try to teach my preschoolers and kindergarteners. Or like my grandmother used to say, "If a man even thinks about hitting you/slapping/putting his hands on you, then you should bust a cap in his a--, then ask questions later..." That's not the answer either, but if he thinks about doing that, then there will be consequences.

i think people judge chris and rihanna waaay 2 much. what really happened? we dont know, so why is chris all of the sudden, "the bad guy?" i love both of their music, and i hope they stay 2gether. chris pry just has a mental disorder.

They both need prayer and counseling; this is not the way; I love Chris Brown however, if you had allegedly beat my daughter up like that I would want you dead. You have tarnished your excellent image that you worked very hard to acheive. As a man I expected more from you because of what happened to your own mother. Chris the judge should give you about 15,000 hours community service in the poorest sections in LA at a womens battered shelter not jail when you finish completing those hours you won't raise your hand to another women again. As for Rihanna I don't believe she's innocent either, I believe she started hitting and cussing and doing what women do; you have your youth and a career ahead of you, to date someone is just that date you don't own him nor should you try to control him being possessive is not a good thing to do at any age; that was not your first boyfriend nor will it be your last what God has for you is for you no one can take it away.

There is a very good article in the Chicago Tribune today by Barbara Brotman - I did not know the statistics about choking that she wrote about - I think she should leave him - no one who loves you would treat you that way...

It's their business what happened. the media tends to report things that aren't true anyway.

Personally tired of hearing about it. Prayer changes things and both of them need to lean on Jesus.
