why do some people keep referring 2 NeNe as ghetto? When I think of ghetto i think of trifling, ignorant & trashy. What's ghetto about being a good mother, taking care of your young black son's and making sure your invested in their future? What's ghetto about starting a foundation for battered women? What's ghetto about being honest 2 your friend & not lying 2 them about their singing abilities? Is she getting the old "ghetto" rap b/c she's a little loud sometimes? Aren't we all? I'm mean how is she supposed to act? She's really like alot of black women that we know & love. Every one of us has a NeNe in our family. I think it's so silly & quite pathetic 2 call someone "ghetto" just for being a little loud & liking 2 have fun. BTW, have you seen Vickie on Housewives of OC? She's really loud & a big motor mouth but I don't hear anyone calling her ghetto. We live in a world w/different people & different personalities. Deal with it & get over yourself.

Lisa you are a big phony. You try and pretend to be real but you are the reason for that whole mess btwn the ladies. You were laughing in the limo when NeNe was singing a true friend would have told her to stop but you did not. You were laughing when Kim called NeNe a drag queen, again a true friend would not condone such ignorance buy you didn't stop that either. I hate Lisa, I think she is just as fake as all the rest with the exception of NeNe. She IS the one who told Kim about Ne Ne's song, She is messy wanna be peacemaker. Deshawn, well the girl comes off like and idiot. She looks really stupid.

I loved the Real Housewives of Atl. It was so good to see the Sistas represented. My favorite was Ne Ne and Lisa. I liked them b/c they were real and they had husbands that love them and supported them,( as well as Deshawn) It was good to see that there are some good black men, with sence and money. NeNe, keep keeping it real, you are just as pretty as the rest of the wives. Don't pay Sheree any attention, I think she is jealous of you and she should be. I see a lot of people using the term "ghetto" when addressing, and or describing NeNe. First and foremost the word "ghetto" is a term created to make a certain class of people feel less than what's considered acceptable "American Social Ettiquette". That is, in my opinion, where we have allowed ourselves become perpetrators of social classism. Nene may not express herself as some of the viewers see fit, but that's what makes us all individuals living "free". Let us not be defined by someone else's definition of what we are supposed to be, or how we should express ourself. Having/showing feelings is considered weak, crying is seen as a weakness or being too emotional; who the heck made the rules on which one should govern themselves. Let us rid our vocabulary of the word "ghetto" especially when it if used as a characterization! Live free of die hard!

Nene is ghetto, but she is not fake at all---she tells it like it is and I appreciate that. Lisa is definitely a go getter, but I truly thought that she was being messy when she ran to Sheree and told her about the song in the limo. She does get two points for apologizing to Nene and admitting that she did discuss it. Sheree is so doggone fake and artificial. Granted she is attractive and all, but not every body wants to be like you! Deshawn is dingy than a mug, but I do like the fact that she wasn't messy. I just want her to learn how to cook a meal or something. She also made a comment about being a single mother when Eric is on the road--um...sweetie...can you tell me what single mothers have estate managers and live in 15000 square foot mansions? Lisa is my girl. She is ambious,a go-getter,doing her own thing,reminds me a lot of myself. She doesn't rely on her husband's fortune. I am from Atlanta and I would just like to say stay strong the show is entertaining. As an NBA wife, I understand some of the same issues that they go through. That is why Lisa & DeShawn you must stay strong, make your money and be true to your family. NeNe do you. There will always be Sheree's & Kim's but at the end of the day, you have to look at yourself in the mirror
