God has a plan for Deshawn and one thing about the issue is that when God has his hand on you you can accept the things that he his allowed. This was only part of the story that must be told. I personally look forward to seeing her when I'm in Atlanta some time next moth. I dont fit end with a lot of people , because I'm a christian. God tells us that if we suffer with him we will rain with him and it's just time for the rain to come. This year is for God's saints and their is fruitfuness if we all just hold on.

DeShawn I think you are so Beautiful. I enjoyed watching a Spirit filled Black Woman do her thing. I appreciate you keeping it real and I wish you much Success on your foundation. I Thank You also because I know now that no matter what happens in my life I can acheive anything. I will continue to get back up. Your attitude is so Beautiful and I know that GOD will continue to Bless you and your family. GOD always give to those that give. You and your family will forever be in my prayers. Take Care!

I watched one episode of Housewives and was appalled to see grown women acting like little girls. Be glad that you are no longer a part of this useless crap; its such a waste and a shame. We have come so far as a people but have a long way to go as individuals. Please continue to do what you do....uplift yourself, your family and the community. Peace and Progress.

Ms. DeShawn, although I "do not" watch reality shows, I appreciate that you didn't lower your standards to earn dollars, which means you didn't prostitute yourself. Thank you for keeping it real, you can't change your interself, especially when it is "GOD" given. Your attitude is what can get you into heaven, a reality show can't. I got a feeling that things are going to better than OK for you and your family. Peace and Blessings.

I have a small cable TV show in Canton OH and always followed the wonderful things that Eric did for his community. I had the honor of interviewing DeShawn and found her to be a very supportive wife, wonderful mother and a woman of integrity with a big beautiful smile. God doesn't make mistakes so if she is no longer on the show it just means that He has something bigger and better for her. It was great to see someone on a show of this type not afraid to talk about God and her spiritual connection. God bless her and her wonderful family. Betty

Deshawn is SAVED in case people who are blogging did not know. Even if you didn't see the episode of her going to church at New Birth (Bishop Eddie Long) you can tell by her demeanor and actions. Christians should stand out and the fact that she is being 'let go' is a compliement. If anything it is a testimony that her presence on the show stirred up some demons that couldn't take it....so God has His hand in this. You go Deshawn, follow God and never compromise! Be an example for other Christians to follow. D

I would just like to say that this decision was just a confirmation to me. Over thet holidays, my friend and I were talking abiut the show and I said that DeShawn seemed out of place. You are a lady with a level of class that was lacking in most of the other women. As Black women, we should want to exhibit more class than we do. Good job! I am sure your best days are ahead.

Deshawn is the only one that kept it real. She can walk away from the experience and not have to deal with damage control. Yeah she has money... so what. She and her husband have been together since college. Love... committment... partnership, sucess AND money. Everything you wish you had. So, stop hating. Go to her website. Read, and make a contribution. You will feel so much better. Or.. maybe you should pull out Stevie Wonder's Songs in the Key of Life and listen to the cut - If it's Magic. Have a great day!

Well I am pretty "PISSED" that they would decide to take Deshawn off the show. Each character had someone that could relate to them. I liked Deshawn because she had "CLASS" NOT all GHETTO'D out as the TV tried to make black people. I need to protest the show because ALL BLACK WOMEN are not DRAMA QUEENS/LOUD/OPINIONATED/MEAN. Deshawn reminded me of watching the COSBY SHOW!! Her mentality of trying to do the RIGHT THING and calm..I think it was a bad call from the PRODUCER!!!
