President Obama: A Year in Review
Winning the Election
Senator Barack Obama won the election on November 4, 2008 becoming the 44th president of the United States and the country’s first Black commander-in-chief.
“America, I have never been more hopeful than I am tonight,” he said in front of thousands in Chicago.

I thank you for a job well done in your first year of office. My God continue to hold you up and keep you and your family as well as your administration safe from harm. Please be safe Mr. President. With love and respect from someone who would certainly vote for you all over again.

I applaud President Obama for the outstanding work he has done for the U.S. and abroad. He is an inspiration for us all when we start complaining of all the things that we are unhappy about. We witness daily, the enormity that is upon President Obama's shoulders and he does not let the negativity that prevails upon him from people who wish they could accomplish what he has in less than a year, affect the Change that he is bringing about. God Bless him and his family and let us continue our support for all that he is trying to do for the world. Mrs. Garth

I think I will wait until January 20, 2010 when it will be one year that President Obama would have been in office. I would like to see what will happen with the health plan; the economic situation and the jobs situation. Hey, there is just so much you do in a year. Thus far, I think President Obama is doing a great job because he is dealing with the local issues, NOT TO MENTION TO INTERNATIONAL ISSUES.
