Pam El's Weight Loss Success Story
No Stopping Me
Pam El was heavy for most of her adult life. But the 51-year-old was never sad or downtrodden about her size. “I was 217 pounds, 5-feet and 2-inches tall, size 18, but I was still very energetic and happy. A lot of time weight depresses people; my weight didn’t depress me it was just a little bit of an inconvenience. And because of my professional success and my personal life: a wonderful husband of 15 years who is also my best friend—I just didn’t take the time to stop and say how can I make this better for myself from a physical standpoint,” explains the businesswoman.
Tamara Harbison lost a whopping 125 lbs. in 9 months. See photos of her amazing weight loss »

I heard about your fantastic success at losing weight and getting good health in return and wanted to congratulate you on your success. I know how difficult it is to stay on a weight loss/healthy eating/exercise routine and you deserve all the kudos for your determination. I have been struggling with my weight for the past 15 years and now need to buckle down just as you did. Your success is inspiration to me and many others. God bless you and keep up the wonderful work, I'm really proud of you. Helen

Pam, you are truly an inspiration. I am currently battling a weight problem and I know how hard it is to get it off. I have a supportive husband and an energetic 3 year old. I am trying to find that balance of home, work, and exercise. I'm going to buy the Four Day Diet today and hopefully I can have a similar success story :)

Congratulations!! Pam you did an excellent job you should be proud of yourself. I have been on the challenge since 01/25/09 I have loss 40 pounds since starting I started out at 242 pounds and now I am 202 pounds. Reading your story I know it can be done and what I have achieved is only the beginning of this journey I have been on for the past 8 years. the only difference now is that I'm doing it right and with the support of my 50millionpound challenge family. One day I want to tell the story of how I was 242lbs and now I am 140lbs. that's my goal and you have allowed me to push on because I know it can be done. God Bless.

Pam: Bless your soul. Congratulations on your accomplishment so far with your weight loss. I feel the same as you, the weight is an inconvenience. I have been a yo-yo for many years. My weight gain started with my first pregnancy. I tried all paid programs that you can think about. Then finally tried my own several years ago and lost 63 ponds in 8 months!! Eleven years ago, I have 2 brain aneurysms and a stroke and subsequent brain surgery, since then several back surgeries and more medical problems that will bore you. I feel like I am a certified yo-yo in the weight loss battle. I had joined Dr. Ian's 50 Million Pounds program but could not get a commitment from anyone to work with me and these are people who need to be on the program! In between hospital and work, I am always on the run. I pray that I will be able to be as courageous as you to get with the program as I know it will truly help my health issues. God bless you J Folkes
