First Ladies of the NBA
Home Team
As the NBA season winds, with the league’s best inching closer to victory, we go inside the lives of the women who are keeping the hottest players on their toes.
While Lebron James is making buzzer-beating shots, his fiancĂ©e, Savannah Brinson, is taking care of their two sons and running The LeBron James Family Foundation. And she always steps out in style, making the high school sweethearts one of the NBA’s most fashionable duos.

I am really disappointed that Essence would print couples who are NOT married while there are so many that are married. You are either married or not, so being engaged is not the same. My main problem is please focus on NBA Baller Wives, not girlfriends. I think Tamia and Grant, Magic and Cookie present a picture of a true commitment versus Carmelo and La-La or Lebron and Savannah---who have both been engaged forever! Promote the Black Family--like Obama and Michelle who made the commitment and represent us well.

Wow Ladies! Why did this article bring out so many negative comments? Just bc you marry or have children by an NBA player does not mean you are a gold digger...it's better to have a child by someone who can take care of you & the kids than have kids by someone who can't or won't(like many)...so KUDOS to these women for making a very good choice! Someone had to do it. Love is a great thing & we as African American women are going to have to get used to African American men who date lighter skinned women or others, because guess what? Its not going to change.
