23-year old Sessilee Lopez was a star from the second she stepped onto her first runway in 2004. But it wasn't until year, when she landed the cover Italian Vogue's "The Black Issue," that the Florida-native suddenly became famous famous. She, along with Arlenis Sosa, Jourdan Dunn and Chanel Iman, Lopez suddenly became part of a black model elite, landing the most in-demand runway shows, editorials and campaigns. With her strong brows, killer cheekbones and sultry, curving smile, Lopez is one of fashion's most lauded beauties--but in September, it was her new, bobbed hairdo that stole the spotlight. Here, the sepia-skinned goddess chats with us about her hair regimen, what's in her makeup bag, and her favorite model. Bet you can't guess who it is.
“I’ve learned so many great hair and makeup tips backstage at shows,” says Lopez, seen here working the catwalk at the 2008 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. “The best makeup tip, though, is to always do your eyes first.
