Yesterday afternoon, the President and First Lady hosted the Presidential Medal of Freedom at The White House in which the Prez awarded 16 individuals for their contributions to the world in the fields of science, culture, peace and social justice. Among those awarded were activist Desmond Tutu, actor Sidney Poitier and civil rights activist Rev. Joseph Lowery.
Mrs. Obama wore a fitted scarlet sheath dress with a coordinating belt. A stack of diamond bangles and patent leather kitten heels finished the look.
