As I sat at work yesterday and learned of the passings of my boy Micheal J. I am in disbelief. I am shock, sad and hurting. His music has always played in my household since i was a child and still does as a adult. When I was in highschool I was a part of a dance group that did Thriller, and that was a memory that has been with me 4ever. I hope Micheal find the peace he's been seeking.I will keep his family in my prayers. R I P Mr Micheal........LUV U

I'm a child of the 90's, my mother was a child of the 60s. She grew up with Michael Jackson, loving and cherishing his music, and through her I discovered and loved his music. Michael was a polarizing figure to say the least, his life fraught with controversary and struggles; he did not truly love himself, and this self-hate manifested itself in many destructive ways, but Michael at his core was a very shy, sensitive and timid individual; blessed with talent that surpassed anything the world has ever seen, or will ever see again. Now, I hope he is able to see truly for the first time what an incredible, dynamic force of nature he was and finally he can be at peace with that knowledge. Even though today I am saddened, I know that Michael is at peace, for the first time in his life true peace, at home with his creator. God Speed Michael, and Thank You for your contributions to this world.

Michael Jackson was a God-gifted musical genius. It was the mystique of his genius and talent that dared him to define himself and live in his own way. There will never be another Michael Jackson, his music and memories live on. There was nothing like the frenzy of Michael Jackson. Nothing like awaiting a Wold Premiere Video back in the 80's and 90's. For me, there was nothing like attending The Victory Tour in Atlanta and seeing Michael Jackson with his brothers perform like nothing the world had ever seen. Rest in peace MJ. May his children find comfort and peace one day. They have the blessing to carry a legacy that only his music can express.
