The reason Michael changed his look so drastically and often is to NOT look like Joseph (they never called their father dad).

The father and son photo of Michael and Joe is almost eerie. We all know Joe pushed him too hard & reportedly abused him. I can't imagine what must be going through this man's mind now as his son is dead and he has to come to terms with how he treated him all his life and for his mother and the grief she must be feeling over the child who never grew up and the woman who not only birthed him, but also understood him best and loved him no matter what and he loved her. Michael once said (recently) when asked about his father, that his father never told him he did good, not even when he would come to his concerts or after Thriller or anything else he ever did, he would just say he did ok. I don't know if something inside of him was unable to applaud the success Michael reached that he never could. RIP Michael, you will be missed, but always remembered

To quote another one of his beautiful songs..."Gone too soon" I almost broke down listening to this song from the Dangerous album on my way to work. RIP Michael. You will never be forgotten.

I was in love with Michael Jackson! I had a huge crush on him; and I'm an 80s baby, so I'm referring to light-bright M. J. His genius will truly be missed; but his music will forever live on. I can't wait until I have children and can share his music with them.

My prayers are with the Jackson family and friends. I grew up with the Jackson Five and Michael. He is and was truly a musical phenom, and I don't think there is another one on earth like him. May his family be conforted by The Lord and their memories of his loved ones. and may we remember him for his musical legacy.

My deepest condolences to the Jackson family. I will keep each and everyone of you in my prayers as we mourn the loss of your son, brother, father and our idol! Michael was loved throughout the world and he shared with the world his ultimate gift of musical genius and superb performances. I grew up listening to the Jackson Five music. I remember when they appeared on Amateur Night at the Apollo Theatre back in the day and the phenonemal career that followed. We lost a giant in the world of music and entertainment. However, he left a legacy that will carry on forever. May Allah be pleased with his work. Peace
