Michael Jackson gave so much of himself to help others in emotional and physical need and he entertained the world for almost all of his life. His humanitarian efforts and his musical accomplishments far exceed what any human has ever done. I truly loved Michael Jackson and have never grieved for any celebrity in my life until now. His work is now done and may he RIP. DG

Its been almost a week and sometimes I still don't believe it. Michael Jackson was just such a big part of my childhood that its so sad to think that he is gone. My comfort is the belief that he is in a better place, singing and dancing with James Brown and can be an angel for good to this world

Michael, you will be missed, your talent was God-given and very inspirational. You and I were the same age, I grew up listening to your music and even remember you at the Mid-South Coliseum and what I had on.....crushed velvet, rust-colored hot pants! :)

when the Jackson five first got their start, my cousins,my sister and myself had what we considered our "singing group". I would say that Michael was my boyfriend and my cousins and sister would fight over the other brothers. I still can't believe that he is gone. I will always remember the times when they first got started and I'll always remember Michael forever. Heartbroken.

I would like to first say God Bless to The Jackson Family. I know if this is painful to his many fans that this has to be hurting them in a way that cannot be explained. I am 42 and have been a fan of Michael's since I was 8. I am so blessed to be able to say that I was able to see him and his talented brothers back in 84 for their Victory Tour. I love you Michael and I know that you are amongst the angels now. R.I.P

To the family, I wish you peace, joy, sanity and continued love as you endure this complicated and devastating time. God will show you the way toward normalcy and happiness once again. Michael would not want us to cry or be sad. He would want us to celebrate and continue his personal mission to heal the world. He finally has the joy and peace that he has always wanted. Be happy for his spiritual freedom. He is smiling upon us now. Let him rest and if you can't uplift the family in some way, please remain silent out of respect for a family that has given so much of themselves to the world. (((HUGS)))

My condolences to the entire family, and his children. As a child my father bought my brother michael the red, and black jacket with the gloves, and I would sneak in to wear to imitate MJ, I cried eventhough I never met MJ in person, he was a part of our family we loved his music. My favorite song was liberian girl, you do know that I want ya, it is hard to name just 2 because all of his music was my favorite really!. I pray that the entire family find peace and that this heartless media leave the family alone during this time of mourning. The world lost a phenominal genius THAT NO ONE WILL EVER COMPARE TO. BEN... Must have been one of the clostest songs written to his true feelings about the childhood he lost and always wanted. As a mother myself I can feel the peace his mother will feel when the media is out of there life about her gift that she allowed to bless us for all these years. We love u MJ...R.I.P
