Remember the Time: Michael's Life in Photos

I was looking at a 1970 EBONY magazine that I have been saving with the "JACKSON 5" on the cover and remembering a young Michael. I pray that his children will always know that he was loved by the world but they had all his love..the love of a father for his children..(Did anyone noticed how mean Joe looked in pic #18)

I REMEMBER MY BROTHER AS BEING THE BIGGEST MJ FAN. HE GOT PAID FOR PERFORMING AT PARTIES AND WEDDINGS. THE DAY THAT I FOUND OUT ABOUT MJ'S DEATH, I WAS HANGING OUT IN HIS ROOM AND I WAS ON THE PHONE WITH MY FRIEND CRYING. WHEN I LOOKED UP I FORGOT THAT MY BROTHER HAD POSTERS OF HIM EVERYWHERE! IT WAS SPOOKY AT FIRST BUT THEN I JUST FELT THAT MUCH CLOSER TO MICHAEL. YOU WILL ALWAYS HOLD A SPECIAL PLACE IN MY HEART!!! RIP

My deepest sympathies to the Jackson family. The many of us who followed Michael in the 70s, 80s and 90s will always remember him dearly for his genius contributions to the music and entertainment industry. Finally R.I.P. Michael.

Will the hurt and pain ever stop hurting, Michael gone but not fogtten, to look at the changes that this man went through, reminds of the "Imitation of Life" because this is truly what this man was going through.

As I was driving the other day, I wondered who would sing at his funeral and what songs they would choose. I heard the perfect song by Patti LaBelle "Feels Like Heaven". When you've Been Blessed, Feels Like Heaven...there will be no more sickness, no more pain, nothing but joy, joy, joy....... Michael will surely be missed. It still doesn't seem real. Regardless of all he went through to become a pop icon, his life was still very sad and I hope he now at last has peace. RIP Michael.
