Remember the Time: Michael's Life in Photos

No one will ever know the truth, he just put himself in position to be taken advantage of if he didn't do it since he wanted so desperately to have what he missed out on being a child. His hard work afforded him things we can only dream of.. We take for granted being able to grow up without scrutiny of millions while we learn and have awkward phases. Pressure was always on him since his gifts made him the leader at a young age. I know his mother Katherine is now seeing her baby at peace since she understood him better than anyone else and adored him and he adored her. Regardless of money and fame, they're still a family and are hurting. I pray his children will have as normal a life as possible since to them he's just their dad. It's ironic that it would take Michael Jackson to even leave this world with shock and disbelief making people take notice and even in death he's the first of his siblings (he's the 7th of 9 in the order). His music just still makes you feel good.

I was just watching the movie about Michael Jackson and the Jackson Five. I couldn't help but think of how he'd spent his life giving to us--entertaining us; and, how he spent so many years being teased and picked on by us. I'm sad that he didn't get to live to see the day that we felt sorry for our cruelty. He's in a better place, though. I think God said, "That's enough, Michael. You've done enough. You've given enough. It's time to come home."
