I want to give my deepest sympathy for the Jackson Family. I grew up with Michael Jackson and The Jacksons. I loved all his music and watching his incredible videos. I even remember watching The Jackson Five cartoons on Saturdays. I never missed a show. I will keep the entire family in my prayers. Michael Jackson will never be forgotton.

REST IN PEACE MICHAEL

Tika you appear to be a ignorant player hater. The lying boy has admitted he did as his parent instructed him to do for the money. You chose to believe that rumor because you are a hater. Some ppl will do anything for money and MJ had plenty of it.Get over yourself. Condolence's to the Jackson family. R.I.P. Michael in spite of what these haters are saying. You will remain an icon,, just no longer with us.

Michael was a true inspiration to me. I hurt for his family and his children, but I know he is in a better place. He worked hard to give back to the community and his fans.....and for that he will be always appreciated. And, the pictures of him and Janet are simply beautiful.

I was born and raised in Gary Indiana and this is so just unbelievable and heart wrenching. Michael was OUR very own star. We were and still am so very proud of him and the entire Jackson family. They intinsified are true Gary Indiana pride. I will continue to pray God's peace for the entire Jackson family-which includes his biological family, his fans and the citizens of Gary Indiana.

(con't...) Nevertheless, regardless of this all, I don't think we should feel the need to lump any skepticism, judgement or negative feelings about Micheal's life/trials and tribulations with our appreciation for his contributions to music. Just as many haven't with other celebrities who have faced criminal or unethical situations...i.e. Chris Brown, R. Kelly, Woody Allen. So, in sum, we will never know the truth behind the details of MJ's life. And I choose only to appreciate and give due credit/ honor to his legacy as an outstanding musician and performer, which is just and well-deserved.

(con't...) And when it comes to the criminal charges of 93' and 04', the truth is no one will ever know the truth except for the parties involved or not involved. I must say, that I am skeptical myself about the truth behind this situation, and saddened in general at the public's ability and need to excuse celebrities of crimes simply because of their status and popularity. (In this case, MJ was found not guilty.) But I think impunity, for celebrities in general, is a dangerous path to walk.

Nothing in this world is black and white. And nothing or no one in life is that simple. Just like us all, it seems as though MJ had many sides to him; many of which seemed to be troubled and hurt from childhood into adulthood, and some of which was very much poor decision-making and self-imposed. Either way, there is no doubt that MJ was one the greatest singers/entertainers of our time. I think, we as fans, feel the need to love every bit of him--even if it means taking the good with the bad. Now, it's true that we are not to judge, that is only up to his higher power, particularly on the issue of his body image and self-imposed physical changes. (Cont...)
