Michael and Janet Jackson

It's still hard to believe that Michael is gone. I keep watching the videos and wish it were a bad dream, but I know it's real. This man did so much for the music world and every day people, his music touched the souls of so many people. There was always a song from him that you could relate to in every day life. I feel bad for the way the media beat him up and treated him. Now he can finally get some peace. I truly hope that he can finally get the respect that he so greatly deserved. It just goes to show you that even with lots of money people are still human. May God bless his family and may Michael Rest In Peace.

When she walked out on that stage and that picture became the backgroud....I cried. I have so much emapathy for her and her family--I lost my grand-father, Mother, Grand-mother, and uncle all within 2 yrs and my Mother's death was sudden also with heart complications so I know her hurt. It's hard....very hard to talk to someone one day and to know the next time when you think of them you cannot call them. Even throughout the losses God is good--to Janet, think of Michael as if he is on vacation and your watching over his things but you will see him again & that's how I think of the family I lost and I will add you and your family on my prayer list.

Michael Jackson is the most amazing, humble, generous and creative person this world will ever see. He is the epitome of genius in everything he does. I refuse to speak of him in the past tense because I know in my heart that he lives on. I always felt that those charges were false both times and he was an easy target because of his exclusivity, his love for children and naivete for seeing the good in all. I feel heavy hearted for not only for the children that were put up to making these accusations, but for the lost that are quick to believe accusations because they are haters or just plain gullible.

We have all had opinions about how he changed his looks over the years but most of us were out of concern than out of disgust. It is possible to be so adored and still not be comfortable in your own skin, especially when you have people saying and doing negatives things to you. I agree with Cynthia, a lot of his pain started in adolescence when fans began to write him saying he was ugly because of his acne. Very shallow people! I wish he had known that they were just haters and they saw the future and that he could not be contained so they tried to bring him down not realizing that MJ is a gift God gave us and there was no dimming that light.

Michael changed the world of music, the world of charity and the world as we knew it in the 60s and 70s. I could go on and on. From ABC to Never Can Say Goodbye to Rock My World, I was there and it was a helluva ride. I pray that there is material that he had recorded to continue the ride. Anyone that LOVES music knows he is in all of us. I pray that he could see what he couldn't see here on earth...How much he means to this world. Love ya, MJ, dance across those clouds baby!!

Dear lord I don't know where to start, but as a child growing up in the 70s I was truly blessed to have known the entire families legacy of how a father and mother who sacrificed a lot to give there children apiece of heaven. My family love michael as well as our offsprings. As a dancer myself and newly published poet I grew up crafting my own style by watching Michael & Janet and the entire family. To the world that tried to break him because u were jealous of the success he became I pray that God have mercy on your soul and ur seeds. for the person who made a comment about him being worshipped and sleeping w/ white boys maybe if u read something from time to time you would have seen that the little boy who said that just admitted yesterday that he lied on michael and his father told him to do it. I knew it all along...just as Katherine Jackson said no amount of money would make a parent satisfied it someone hurt their child.

Once again I will say it for all the Tika's of this world, you are the reason Michael is gone. Negative talk, negative press and the pressures and stress of this world. Perfect people do perfect things, human beings make mistakes and live life. I know you are perfect and he was just a human being and I know you saw him sleeping with young white boys, but for those of us that know he didn't or felt he was being targeted as a cash register, we will continue to see the good in him and in everyone, including you. I pray for Michael's family and I pray for you. I'm glad that God has given him peace and one day you will find it also. Obviously you are a tortured soul also. Peace
