I agree that she's going way too far with these belts. I love the outfit, but that ugly belt ruins it. It looks like an ammunition belt. I thought the secret service was supposed to take care of that.

I love it, I love it, and I love it, I love the Obamas.

I think our First Lady Michelle Obama and her Mom look beautiful and it appears to be a different "White House". It's nice to see her embrace the many people including her family who helped to shape and mold the woman that she's become. The White House really appears to be "A house of the people. " Well Done!!!

Davis----oh we're going to see a lot more of this huh? Will we be treated to more socialist programs from her husband? More nauseating features about how great Michelle is, who has accomplished nothing in her life except declare that she was never proud to be an American? Or dress like a teen at an international event? But, I guess she gets a pass. Where was all this love and admiration when Condoleezza Rice was in the news, a woman of "color" who actually achieved something? Oh, guess she didn't matter because she was, horrors, a Repulican!!!

O.K. PEOPLE, LET'S GET OFF THE CLOTHES AND MAKE-UP. THEY ARE NOT GOING TO PUT THEM ON THE COVER OF A WELL KNOWN MAGAZINE PLAIN LOOKING, AND I DON'T THINK THERE IS ANYTHING WRONG WITH FIRST LADY'S CLOTHES. SHE LOOK GREAT! THE PROBLEM IS THAT SO MANY OF YOU ALL ARE PLAIN JANES AND HAVE NEVER WORN MAKE-UP. THAT'S WHY EVERYTHING LOOK TO BE TOO MUCH. IF THEY FEATURED THEM ON THE COVER WITHOUT MAKE-UP OR WEARING COUNTRY CLOTHING YOU WOULD STILL COMPLAIN. MAKE -UP YOUR MINDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I PERSONALLY LIKE THE WAY THEY LOOK AND THE OUTFITS. I KNOW SOME STATED THAT THEY DON'T LIKE THE FACT THAT THE MAKE-UP WAS HEAVY OR TOO LIGHT, BUT WHEN YOU ARE TAKING PHOTOS FOR A MAGAZINE OR JUST STANDING IN FRONT OF CAMERA, YOU HAVE TO WEAR IT THAT WAY OR IT WILL CAST A SHADOW OR WANT LOOK POLISHED. THAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MAKE-UP ART AND EVERYDAY APPLICATION. YOU WOULD NOT WEAR IT THAT HEAVY FOR EVERYDAY. THEY LOOK FABULOUS!

She looks great. The BEST I have ever seen her. What is wrong with you people talking about she is over made up? This is the make up and kind of hair she should have been rocking from the day Obama declared he was running.--especially at the inauguration. Make up is on point and her hair finally looks done the right way. I think some of you were identifying a little too much with her frumpier look. Up till now she's been a little boring and plain now she is TRULY living up to all the hype about her being stuningly beautfiul . Appreciate it! And her Mom looks good too!

I received your magazine on April, 9th and the magazine is wonderful! Michelle and her mother Marian look beautiful! I don't think they needed so much make-up. They have a natural beauty.

We have the first African American family in the White House and people are complaining/worrying about the First Lady's hair and fashion? There's no wonder our children are as ignorant and uneducated as they are. Let's get a grip and cherish this historic event for the impact it has and will continue to have on our children, our lives, and our country.
