Mrs. Obama has truly horrible style sense. Her sweaters do not fit and she comes across as trying but missing by a mile. The belts are awful as they ride up so high under her bust that it runs her proportions. I sooooo tired of reading what a style icon she is PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tommy if you are going to post something on a public blog please make sure to proof read your postings. The role of C. Rice was a lot different from the role of Mrs. Obama. Mrs. Obama is a woman was determined to make a life for herself. Many of us can relate to her walk and what it take to become a success.

someone should tell grilfriend to loose the big belts. who puts a belt over a sweater? also, why are they wearing makeup to make them look lighter? aren't they proud to be black???? they need to represent!

I love your story of the first lady Mrs. Obama and her mom. They are an inspiration and a positive role model to women of every colour and creed. I hope your magazine will feature future stories around ordinary(not celebarity they get enough publicity as it is) mother's and daughter's relationship. There must be so many stories out there that should be told as well.

I have a whol collection of Michelle Obama everything. In my sitting room, I have every magazine the First Lady has been on. I have framed pictures of her in every room in my house, and the Essence interview was divine. I loved it!!!

"Everyone is proud of the Obamas" I am not, I did vote for Obama I will not vote at all. He no good US President Barack Obama has said that a previous UN conference on racism where hostility towards Israel had been expressed is the reason why his administration was boycotting the UN conference on racism in Geneva. Only foolish black people would support him.
