I think her makeup is not overdone in the picutures and wouldn't be surprised if she wasn't wearing any at all. Her skin looks pretty healthy. I think that's her real hair in the photo's it's pulled back in a small bun, not flowing all down her back. She does have some hair, she's not bald. And we should look our best no matter where we go. Whether it's Africa or Europe fault your own unique style.

as americans...do we have to wear make up to everything. I think she is a beautiful talented woman. but all that make up and weave seems vain.

Kelly is abosolutely BEAUTIFUL inside and out. I'm wondering wha products she uses on her skin cause she is glowing. I admire the work that she's doing overseas. I think she is cover worthy for 2009, Next year Essence please put other celebs on the cover like Brandy, Kelly Rowland, India Arie, Ledsi, Keyshia Cole, Angie Stone, and Janet Jackson, Actresses like Halle Berry, Vivica Fox, Joy Bryant, and anyone newer. No more Mary J Blige or Beyonce covers please for at least the entire 2009.

In picture 18 you can see and feel Kelly's humbleness as Vanessa interpret to her. She is so sweet.

Kelly is very humble and compassionate. I love how she was so open and even brave enough to get tested. She is a true star.
