Ummm, I thought they where already married. They where married in 2002 in Jamaica. After dating for six months, they tied the knot on New Year's Day during a private ceremony at the Grand Lido Sans Souci Hotel in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. This was in Jet Magazine....

I also wanted to thank you both for the opportunity for giving me a thrill of a lifetime and surprising my family and friends when I was chosen to be part of the play you both were in at The Spreckles Theatre. Kenny was singing "For You" my favorite song as part of the play. I compose myself and enjoying the beautiful serenade in the spotlight, my 15 minutes. After it was all done, Kenny hugged me, and I told him thank you and I also hugged Shante thanking her for being such a good sport. I wish them continued success and may they be blessed with everything their hearts desires..

Hey Chante and Kenny! I got to see you Chante in a play a while back,and I remember meeting your husband Kenny at the Peabody Hotel in Memphis around about 1998. Kenny have a very warm and endearing personality. I remember he allowed me to take a picture with him for $ 2.00. I keep that picture hidden Chante and I will tell you why,girl I was drunk from drinking some gin and I looked so high and strung out in that picture! I will never let anyone see that picture!Chante you have a very good husband,child you are blessed! So congratulations! God bless!

Congratulations Chante & Kenny, you make a beautiful couple. Chante, I remember you from St. Stephens Church in San Diego. I loved to hear you and your sister sing with the youth choir. I have bought all your stuff because I am soo happy that you are living your dream. BTW, Kenny I buy yours also "for you" is one of my favorite songs. I hope God continues to bless the two of you in your marriage, careers and family.
