DOING RIGHT: This year the 6’1", 268-pound baller is set to launch the Dwight Freeney Foundation, which will focus on getting kids active and involved with outdoor activities. The DFF’s initiatives will be targeted at boys and girls of all ages in underserved communities in Indianapolis and central Indiana for the first year, with plans to expand to Freeney’s home state of Connecticut and beyond. “It promotes working out and nutrition, especially for aspiring professional athletes,” says Freeney. “What you have today can be taken away tomorrow, and I think I was put in this position to help out.”
