I called every movie theater in harford County and all of them said the the same thing. They didn't know if they would be getting it.So I told them that's a Dam Shame and maybe it hits to close to home for most of them. !!!!

If you don't see the movie in your city maybe its not playing there yet. I live in Toronto and its not playing here until Nov.20 and it opened up on the Nov 6. It will only be showing at one theater so I will have to trek all the way downtown to see. Maybe you can contact the website: precious tickets( Please note this is all one word but I can't post websites in my post according to Essence). Check there to see when its playing in your city/state. Hope this helps.

Unfortunately, its not in Denver, CO anywhere. Also I spoke with a few friends in Missouri that cant find it either. I'm very disappointed that it was not a National release. I plan to go to Monique's show website and express my concern about it.

This movie is only shown is only shown in Mississippi on the 21st. To top it off it is only shown in one city at one cinema. I would like to know who do we contact to protest!?!

Why is it that because the movie Precious is a black movie, and based on a true story written by a black woman. Is only in select theaters. I think that is a bunch of Bs. Black people go to the movies to. So with that being said we all need to support the movie tonight by going to see it if it is playing in your city. So that way the other cities that are less fortunate can be given the chance to watch the movie..

Unfortunately for all the New Jersey residents wanting to check out the movie "Precious" you won't see it in your home state. NOPE, not showing in any theaters in New Jersey, have to go to the BIG APPLE to catch this movie. I saw at select theaters, but DANG I was so disappointed when I couldn't find IT at least ONE theater in NJ. So I'm asking folks to go support the movie and make it number one at the box office this weekend.
