Beyonce seems to be following her mother's instruction. Enjoying the ride (as she should) and not becoming deceived by her own press. I hope she will continue to listen to wise counsel, learn and not follow her entertainment predecessors Janet Jackson, Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey (maybe w/Nic things might be ok), Whitney Houston, Diana Ross, and others that allowed fame, celebrity and the celebration of riches & "SELF" to warp & corrupt their perspective of a real "reality" outside their bubble. It seems like those mentioned aren't to stable in the head! Beyonce, Alicia Keyes, Mary J all seem grounded.

As an English teacher, I am asking for each of you to drop the word "Hating" from your vocabularies. No, she does not look good in that dress, and frankly her style is usually overdone. Frankly, I was not impressed with any of the women at this event, and I do not understand how they even had a best dressed list. They all need to take a page from the BEAUTIFUL Halle who is never overdone, but her beauty just stands on its own.

Delish? What does Beyonce being from Texas have to do with her outfit for the Oscars.............I'm from Texas and yes we like to do it big, and Beyonce showed out at the Oscars! I'm tired of ppl talking down about Beautiful women out of jealousy. Get over it. Everyone knows Beyonce is a beautiful woman with or without the make-up, Hair, and accessories. Come into 2009 with another agenda..........maybe how to make yourself successful and stop hating on a DIVA like B-eyonce!

First of all Beyonce SINCE she came on the scene has been fake. She dropped the girls that she grew up singing with to be solo. I guess they were holding her down and taking her money? She decides to now a days to cut her record label from production and short change her very talentated dancer's in her latest music video. In JZ's song "Song Cry" he says girls wount give him the time of day but now they on him, Beyonce is that chick. She about that paper and based on her latest album I can assume she two faced. The only real one in that group is Kelly Rowlands.

You know, Looking at it from the front, B's necklace is kinda too much, but not really. But on the verge. The shoes are though! Alek, good job! Taraji...no hun. I think that Beyonce, being from Texas, over-accessorises. That dress already had enogh going on with it. The necklace is too much for that dress. Keep it simple and you will be loved. A more simple diamond necklace would have been better. Less boob too. They are never a cute accesory. Are people to look at your boobs, your dress, or your necklace? Choose one! Also, yall, pro-cameras shoot 2000 per minute, so, back up on the pose thing!
