One positive thing that's definitely come from the article: the flow of dialogue. This relationship thing is the elephant in the room, and we're finally talking about it. Unfortunately, I haven't seen many happy relationships in my community nor immediate family. Of my friends from high school....I cannot count on any hand the number of happy marriages, but can count a while the number of heartbroken single moms. I cannot speak for other people experiences, only what my eyes have seen. I decicded a few years ago (early 20s) that looking for love simply was not worth the apparent risk and today still stand by my decision. Maybe, though, through honest dialogue we'll start to mend the wounds and see future generations avoid our mistakes.
