Finally some variety. Thanks to Essence for showing sisters that attractive men can be found all over the global village.

So CSI: Miami took Adam Rodriguez off the opening credits. Well, as Jada's gay roommate said in Low Down Dirty Shame, "Mo be for us!" I am sssooooo looking forward to Adam spreading his wings and doing great things across the board and not just on Miami. Can't wait to see him on Ugly Betty on 11/13. He's proven his leading man status along with his ability to hold a movie together and make it pivot with his every move. Plus I don't know when I've seen anybody light up a big screen like Adam Rodriguez!!! Later for CSI: Miami. This brother has some serious work to do now!

Who are we to tell anyone who they can or can't date? The same being, GOD created all of us and we are HIS Children. I thank him everyday for all that there is of beauty in this world. Especially "Foine" Men of whatever Color. By the way there is only one Race, and it is Human.

If he off of CSI Miami I'm done watching! He was my only reason for tuning in!

I have to say that I like your list but I would have to add: Zachary Quinto (his Spock was delicious, Rafael Nadal (he is an amazing tennis player and his arms are yummy!)and Johnny Depp (he is a great actor and he gets better looking with age)!

Thanks Essence for showing other men and their beauty. There are good Black men out there but so few that many well deserved, educated, with not many children having Black women are looking else were. I know I am. And this is a good start!!! WOOOO WHOOOO!!!!!

Essence thank you for shining light on attractions of men of different race. What you have done Essence is revitalized and brought focus back to the "African Diaspora," people from Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean and Black Americans and show how we are all related within our African ancestery from slavery. This is proudly shown, through our similar facially structure, skin tones, music, dance, etc.. You have began to close that divide between us.

It's about time! I have been telling friends and families about dating outside of their race! I date men all shades and all colors! Living in Ct you have too, I just hope that the other races of men are as open? That is the real debate.

Good job Essence! Love this one!!! @ Teal : "And to all the dissenters, women of African descent who aren't American born don't have the same complexes and issues with their blackness as African American women do." Wow, I guess you've traveled the entire diaspora to come up with this assumption. Of course many African-American women do have a psychological issue dating men outside of the race, especially white men, stemming from the abuse of black women at the hands of other men during slavery and Jim Crow. But we definitely aren't the only black women that are reluctant dating outside of the race. Most of us just have a preference for black men anyway. I haven't been privileged enough to travel the entire diaspora, but in my experiences, I have found that black women from other nations aren't eager to date outside of the race either.
