Dawn Richard of Danity Kane Speaks
In 2005, Dawn Richard was among the hundreds of aspiring female entertainers dancing and singing their hearts out in hopes of becoming a member of Diddy’s next girl group on MTV’s “Making the Band” series. Dawn was one of five women chosen by the megaproducer to join the pop quintet Danity Kane, a name Dawn created based on her comic book series of the same name.

I am not a fan of Danity Kane, but I am happy to see a dark skinned sista leading a singing group for a change. It encourages little chocolate girls to embrace their beauty even though society is ALWAYS telling us that the lighter skinned black woman is more beautiful. We, as a people, need to embrace all of our polychromatic hues. WE ARE ALL BEAUTIFUL! You go, Dawn!

To much is giving much is required! When in transition to presue your dreams you must remeber what looks and sounds good is not good, when happiness awaits with destiny there are road bloaks(d-woods,abury).The girls should remeber that a ram has been put in the bush and never feel obligated to feed crows but to soar with eagles, choose wisely and please allow p-diddy not to continue to convince the public that this was not his chose but the girls(danity kane) this all what you sign up for, handle public affairs with love, humbleness, and complete KNOWLEDGE.be sweet and make history!!!!!

I hope the girls can work it out! I think maybe they should go to counseling and see they can get help with communicating with each other. A professional unbiased opinion may help a great deal. I love the group, I have followed since the first MTB 3 and I want them to enjoy sucess together. They worked really hard to just end up with a handful. D. Woods, they really need you in the group. Get back girl. Aubrey, you used to be my favorite, they group is what made you famous. Get back girl. Peace
