Seeing happy black people together is so rare that it almost makes me emotional to see a Black couple together. Even if the date didn't lead to a relationship, it was fun to watch.

Congrats to Yvette for stepping out of her comfort zone to embrace a chance at love. I hope you find your "Adam" soon. Peace and blessings.

This was cute :) Dating should be light and fun so you can get to know the "real" person. I like Yvette (she's in my height range LOL) I just love to watch her facial expressions. Her hair is gorgeous! I would love to know what products that she uses to style/groom it...

Yvette is very funny on Community. Congrats on the date, it looked fun but I have to ask - WHERE DID SHE GET THAT TOP? I loooove it! If she could post the designer or store, that'd be great. I love, love, love it and want one for myself. Thanks

Kudos to Yvette. I hope and pray she finds real love. In the meantime, I, too am searching for LOVE. I am an intelligent, educated woman who just cannot seem to find a suitable date.I didn't say HUSBAND, I said DATE. I'm open to different cultures and nationalities. It's like trying to locate a needle in a haystack.. I would love to go out on a datewith an intelligent man. Please HELP.....

I enjoyed the article and had a chance to meet Mo Beasley during one of his performances in the Bowery a couple of summers ago. I think this was a good match and I hope to see more of Yvette's dating chronicles.
