Is that too much to ask for. I mean so what if a brothers doesn't drive a BMW or a Benz. At least the brothers got heart and goals that aiming to achieve. A sista by his side would boost his mentality with the right to grow and become what he aims to please the black lady who would love him for who he is, not for what he is...

Appreciate? It doesn't hurt much to be able to teach the black men how to appreciate a black women, at least show how its done. Isn't that how you build a tight bond relationship between 2 people as black man and woman? I believe the reason why the Black men choose white women because they are not as strong as a black women. Assuming they are easy to get, although to a black women raised their standard so high that a black men do not meet its category. There are fine good black men out there in all size. Just that the black women are not looking for a black men in the right place. It doesn't matter if they are professional or not. Its a simple poetic justice that should do all black women a favor and find their black man. In order to caress them and build a strong divine relationship.

if you weaken the blood you weaken the race! I do believe this was set up from the very beginning when our ancestors were brought over here! The masters slept with those black women and made the black man raise his child (broken structure) I'm sure that was a hard thing to do! I agree with the comment from the "The single black Man extinct we are heading in that direction and it does not have to mean whipe out (it means lack of love between us, trust, and caring for one another.) look how society has breeded this mess in us! You can say what you want it's a set up and we are the victums! Too Naive or even scarred!!

I think its good that we are finally realizing that true love and respect has no color. Black men for years have been dating white women because they do not know how to love and appreciate a black woman. So, now we know that we can be loved and appreciated by a real man, and if he happens to be of another race, oh well. Its not what is on the outside, its what is on the inside.

It is a shame that that black woman in general would discard a black man for a white man. It is very sad, its no wonder the black race is in the process of becoming extinct. Black women gave up on their black men. It is a disgrace to our heritage. This Interracial Relationships should not exist, if everyone just stick to their own race, color and creed...

Inter-racial relationships will always be a SORE SPOT for all Americans because we live in a socialized racist society. Most aren't foolish enouh to outwardly speak racisim instead reflect in their actions. A racist's defense is "I'm not a racist I know a black person".. When a "inferior" black is chosen by a "superior" white it is viewed positively as "you made it/trophy" or negatively your a "sell out/trader/n.i.g.g.e.r lover/jungle fever". Racisim will always exist espseically if we choose to ignore it. All I must say is inter-racial couples are bold and brave.

Love who you want to love if you dare, But I believe you have to go after what you truly want in life. I truly want to be myself and in love with a man who share's my culture, history and values. Don't chose love based on statistic's and television (they try to trick us into believing there's no good black men or black women in order to seprate us.) .Black men and women will always love each other even in crazy times. No one can break us apart no matter how hard they try, THERE WILL ALWAYS BE BLACK LOVE, FAMILIES, and PEOPLE!

TimD, We are not watching BET, we are watchhing Black men's behaviors. Most of the married men/single men are cheating so what is there to stick around for more abuse/ Its not all Brothers but the stats are high, I know married women who are dying of AIDS. They said heir husands were good but they were only good at giving them a "Death sentence".
