Color of Love: Celebs in Interracial Relationships

I am from the south and dating outside your race isn't accepted in my family. But when I left the south I dated outside my race and my father scared the guy off saying he was going to shoot him if he ever came home with me. Stupid right? As far as interaccial dating, I don't mind it if any sex of the human race dates outside of their race. It is completely up to them, but don't put your own race down. Not all people in your race are alike. There are sorry (lazy) people in black,white, mexican, asian, and mixed races. It is the person that you fall in love with. I have a person that only dated a white man because she didn't want her children to have nappy hair. That is what gets to me. Love yourself and the person (no matter what their race is) you are with because they make you happy, not because they have more money, your kids might have good hair and they are going to do you better than the next race.

Know that progressive black men do not care what you do with your love lives. Really. Just stop making excuses and be happy, please. The world is asking questions about y'all now (why are they having such a hard time dating ANYONE) so it's time to impress or be quiet.
