Rochelle Bickford - You're absolutely correct. Even though Black women have been blindly loyal and self-sacrificing financially, sexually, spiritually and in every other ways for DECADES - to the point of being alone even as Black men dated and married ANY and EVERY OTHER type of women EXCEPT Black - Black men still have the nerve to have double standards when it comes to Black women dating out. They still date out at 2-3x the rate of Black women (many of whom are foolishly waiting for a Black man even though the numbers aren't there thanks to jail, disease and all around trifling childish behaviors). I am SO GLAD that a number of Black women are not going to follow in the footsteps of our mother's generation (1970s, 1980s) who waited in vain for nothing.

I knew there would be more troll comedy in here today! "Black Single Man" - let's try that again: "It is a shame that that black man in general would discard a black woman for a white woman. It is very sad, its no wonder the black race is in the process of becoming extinct. Black men gave up on their black women. It is a disgrace to our heritage. This Interracial Relationships should not exist, if everyone just stick to their own race, color and creed..." Interracial relationships have existed from the beginning of time and will always be in existence (thanks in large part to black men!) It's a little too late to be singing this same old song yet again. The tide has already turned.

TimD, you try to talk the talk but in everything you say, you somehow contradict yourself. Rochelle Bickford told you right and you can object the statistics all you want, but the white man didn't make them up, it is what it is. You may not be in the category with the black men who make up those statistics and there are a lot of great black men out there, but don't say it's because of us black women you are obviously bitter. I think the article is a beautiful thing, and i have much love for interracial marriage and dating.

I'M 46 YEARS YEARS OLD AND THE 21YEAR OLD DAUGHTER THAT MY FIRST HUSBAND AND I HAVE(THAT HE ABANDONED FOR FORNICATION) IS ABOUT TO MARRY A WHITE MAN WHO IS SO GOOD TO HER AND HAS ALREADY BOUGHT HER A HOUSE FOR WHEN THEY ARE MARRIED. Some of you women make comments using me as an example of why you should date wht men, as if I really care. I never once said don't do it, in fact for some of you I encourage it. Good riddens. Your reasons for doing it are as intelligent as you are. Unlike you, I could have easily went outside my race but instead chose to date an intelligent blk woman who would never JUDGE me by some Dumb statistics that keep changing depending on the racist source. Instead of reading negative sources, try reading something uplifting. I treat my girl like a queen, and she reciprocates. Thank God should doesn't follow your shallow mindstate, then again I would never be attracted to your type anyway. And btw, I have male friends from many races and you would be surprised what they say and think behind closed doors. Men are men, period. Some good some bad. Keep believing in the tooth fairy ladies.lol
