After taking a look at the comments I am really just in aw about the things that are said. If black women feel that they need to look other places to find love then let them. I feel that you need to find someone to support you no matter who you are. In my life I have dated nothing but black women, and I am considering looking to other races to date because I am tired of dealing with the stereo typical attitude that black women display. Maybe they have the same problem.

Ummmm.....as you can see the word successful means they have their own money. As for you i'm sure the reason you call yourself black single man is that no black woman wants you especially with that attitude, and if the white woman wants you, that's great, one less ignorant black man we have to deal with. I honestly don't see the big deal with IRs. They're just like every relationship, which has its ups and downs. It's a shame that people still want to use slavery like some kind of crutch. It's great we know the history and move on, not keep falling backwards. We learn from it and be a better person. I just feel like we just get off on pissing the other off for the sake of it. That has got to stop. Life is too short for this junk going on. It's not only aimed at black men but women too. I feel like this, if that black man/woman found love who happens to be non-black, leave them be. The Black Community and the media has no right to dictate who you are supposed to love, it happens. No mate's skin color should neither measure your strength or character. Just don't put down the other by igniting stereotypes. We know what they are, it's already put up here or not. That makes you look real ugly in the eyes of everyone.

Inter-racial relationships will always be a SORE SPOT for all Americans because we live in a socialized racist society. Most aren't foolish enouh to outwardly speak racisim instead reflect in their actions. A racist's defense is "I'm not a racist I know a black person".. When a "inferior" black is chosen by a "superior" white it is viewed positively as "you made it/trophy" or negatively your a "sell out/trader/n.i.g.g.e.r lover/jungle fever". Racisim will always exist espseically if we choose to ignore it. All I must say is inter-racial couples are bold and brave.

A few points to be considered women in general out number men especially among blacks. There are many factors for this. Beginning with the dehumanization of the negro slave, Willlie Lynch, Black Wall Street, lack of MORE positive black male leaders, black media inferiority, racial profiling, unequal law conditions for black vs white etc. As we embrace the idea of change we must commit to help create the change the gov't can NOT do it alone. We are responsible for taking care of home like so many other cultures that come to amer. visibly do. Each 1, Teach 1 increase our community. The 12 beautiful women feat. 4 interacial love do NOT compare w/ black famous men who flaunt their prize trophies. Love vs money keep in mind all feat. women have their OWN BANK! Please stop hatin congradulate they found love as u embark on your own!

I think we are all free to date/marry whoever we want, regardless of race. It would be nice not to hear some stupid black guy bring up slavery when they become aware that the guy Im dating is white. Being Nigerian, I never had slaves in my family anyway, so its really dumb of them to use names like 'slave girl' and assume I want to be a slave to a white guy. All of that immaturity has got to stop. I date whoever I want to date.
