I think this is fine if our black men won't step up to the plate and treat black women the why we should be why should we stay where we are not wanted. Love is colorless.

I've only read the 1st page of comments here and will not get into the tos and fros but I think it's such as shame. A few years ago I used to feel bitter, angry and disappointed when I saw interracial relationships. However as I got older and understood life a little better I realised that it's about finding love - not necessarily checking off a list of ideal traits. London is the most cosmopolitan city in the world - if you walk around here for a few hours you'll see black couples infrequently. I'm still single and the way I see it, I'd love to find love with a brother. However, I will not chase away love from somone from another race if we're compatible on all other levels but different in complexion of our skins. All the best to you who are looking for love and congrats to those of you who have found it - regardless of who its from.

WoW , Tim D is still angry and harassing Sisters for dating out? Well thats too bad, I will never date or marry a Black man. Everytime a Black man comes up I just tell them "No"! Im not interested anymore they do too much wrong. Tim you need to get over it! Pesncola, your telling the truth, its our turn to back away from Black males and move on.

My husband is not black but Hispanic and he makes me very happy. Yes we get the looks, but I’m happy and the hell with everyone that thinks it wrong.

Nice to see sisters dating outside their race and stop feeling guilty cause soon as a brother gets rich he grabs a white, Hispanic, or white looking woman for real. And for all the black men complaining about black women criticizing them- too bad. Be a man and your woman won't have to. I never really considered a white man but I'm opening up to it now because it's too hard to be stressing- you know?

.....what we have forgotten that LOVE has no color; for GOD is love. You can find love where you find it in another person. I myself had been in and still do mingle or even date my opposite race of African-American; it goes back as far as 1975 the prejudice was there for I had felt it first hand but the other was that I let my first love go because of his white mother feeling quite negative about the situation and her sons choice of woman without saying a word even..it was just that evident that she was prejuidice but the wonderful things is that he still didn't change his choice of woman that he wanted; he married a black woman over the years past and still is married to her without the blessing of his mom. BRAVO to him and other men and women that choose to marry out of there race. It is not that we are not proud of our own race it is that we that choose to look out further of the box that we are placed into...LOVE and be LOVED.

Tim..in your last message...you told me STFU.. I never cursed at you, but you were quick to use profanity. So, I can only imagine if your doormat girlfriend disagreed with you, and mind you, I only typed words on a screen and got your blood pressure up..You probably would BEAT HER DOWN. She is probably getting her behind whooped on the regular. You and your kind cannot steal my joy. I am not and never have said ALL BLACK MEN..just slugs like you who aren't worth typing to anymore. I wish I knew what city you were in because I would post the number of the nearest battered woman's shelter for your girl.

What a wonderful slideshow! Thank you for creating it. I really enjoyed it. It's disappointing to see so much negative reaction to pictures of black women in relationships with white men. It's a shame, But it reflects where much of the African-American community is at when it comes to this topic. I am Caribbean-born (Dominican Republic) and I couldn't imagine restricting myself to only black men. How boring. It's 2008. Please join the rest of the world.
