As long as there are black women, there will be a black race. Race and lineage are MATERNAL. RNA is passed from MOTHER to DAUGHTER (and son). But only DAUGHTERS (females) pass RNA to their children.

@ Barry Alexander-There's no need to vegetate in front of the TV. Your species isn't becoming endanged because of black women. Why not start a mentoring program to stop the black on black crime since the number one cause of death for black men is homicide?

Love is colorblind. Beautiful black women, enjoy love wherever it may find you. I found love with a vanilla man, and I couldn't be happier. But I do not put black men down because they're fighting the bigotry just like me.

I guess there's no hope for me of ever getting married to a black woman after seeing such negative comments toward black men.I feel like an endangered species. I'll just continue to work hard and maintain my clean record while I vegetate in front of the TV.

It's all about that CONNECTION....The Thunderbolt....The knowing....The SoulMate......God has the MASTER plan....Eventually...the human race will just be a BLEND of all Nationalities.... I started to date Vanilla because they wanted to be with me!.. Love is colorless!....Bigotry is NOT!

TO DEE-IN London Nice to see someone else from the UK up in here! Is it just me or are you suprised at the anger up in here? I realise the historical reasons for such feeling, but isn't it just about love and caring? Man is Man as we say, there are good and bad ones of every colour. It's about knowing yourself and what you will and won't tolerate, what you bring to the table and what you expect from him. Communicating and not acting the fool in the name of love. Dee, good luck in your quest to find someone. You're in the right place for it, London. I live in Leeds, but love my weekends in London, there's Man everywhere you turn, I love it!!

I last checked this discussion a few days ago and Lord have mercy, this has opened a can of worms!!! Surely it should be about "he/she is so happy/in love/content", not the colour of the persons skin. What happened to progress, education, open mindedness and finding the one person to share your journey through life with? Thank God I look at a content of a person's character, not the colour of their skin. TOMORROW'S NOT PROMISED TO ANYONE, BE HAPPY, NO MATTER WHAT COLOUR THE PERSON IS!

I hear the same thing in the UK and the US - the brothers are not stepping up. I don't hear that from the Caribbean or the Africans. So what makes black Americans and Brits different? Is it because we have options? Is it because we're assisted in different ways, it's caused a rift between us women and our men? Why is there so much self hatred between us? I believe we need to know what we want in life and why - then the love we want will come along. Looking for a sex partner, a housemate or playmate in the form of a spouse isn't enough - for anyone black or white. Be open to attracting your match (equal) and I believe you'll find love.
