People, what is the problem here, we don't judge people on the color of their skin, we judge on how we get along with each other, it is not a black or white thing, if you are get a white persons attention then so be it, if you get a black persons attention then so be it. I myself am a dark chocolate woman who have had relationships with black men and white men, in my case, I get peoples attention when I walk into a room , I am talking about black men and white men, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. last but not least regardless of what race or color a man is still a man. Love is not a color.

Look, Njiama you say that most men choose everything other than black women because black women are not naturally beautiful. Well guess what? Barack Obama who is about (hopefully) to be the most powerful man in the world CHOSE a black woman. I have heard a lot of white male commentators say that she is attractive. She is a100 percent black woman from the hood. Denzel Washington did the same. So did Ben Carson who is one of the top Neurosurgeons in the world.

Jay, BLACK LOVE should excite you. You are a male( guessing from your name) so there are more than enough upstanding AA women for you to chose from. But as for us women, what are we supposed to do? Please tell me? 70% of AA women are single. And there are not enough upstanding single AA men for us. That is why we are "running" as you say to other races. Not because of self-hate. But because we are NO LONGER will to sit around ALONE and wait for a good AA man because sadly this is something that may or may not come to pass and most of us do not want continue to be part of the 70% statistic. If you find love, not matter what the color of that person, Go for it!!

Inter-racial dating is so BORING! What excites me is BLACK LOVE. There are too many black people with self-hating issues, running to other races in an attempt to hide it. Those in inter-racial relationships are more likely to divorce. Fact!

BW need to let go of the "brother" label. All black men are not related to you and most will do NOTHING for you. I know it is a term from black history and that is where it should stay, in history. Choose men based on character.

It's about time! Really, how long are we to sit by and watch (and support) brothers as they rise to the tops of their fields (actors and professionals) then leave us for white or non-black women. Oh and then they turn to us and say that love has no color. Hmm...that may be true, but why is it always the excuse when a brother is leaving a sister for a another race? I don't understand it. It's like the black woman is only good for birthing the babies, taking care of them, molding them, etc.. then when those boys become men, only white women are good enough. Where does that leave us? I guess if you want a black man, you have to go to the ghetto or inner city and be a ride or die chick to keep a brother.

I strongly believe that love has no color and no one has the right to tell you how to live your life. Although we have come a long way in our society, race is still a big challenge that we face. Of course everyone is entitled to their own opinion but some people go out of their way to be so rude, racist and disrespectful which is really sad. Unfortunately there will always be hateful people in this world. Judge on character, not color. Love who YOU want to love and don't let anyone or anything stand in the way of your happiness!

Wow, these pics are inspiring een though I've never dated other than black guys...Naomi's man is handsome and so is the Grey's Anatomy guy. This may have actually changed my views on interracial dating! It has been very frustrating as a young black woman in my twenties to have encountered nothing but guys who are only interested in using, lying, cheating, and sex. Never want to go out or partake in cultured activities, never delve into my interests, never want to open up personally on deep levels...I could go on with the disappointments. I want to be happy with a Black man, but they have really fallen behind socially and mentally to suit my standards... Why didn't they show Tina Turner here?

Nyiama, Don't fool yourself light skin and blue eyes does not denote to the bystander that you are " Not Black".....instead of focusing on your looks, have you thought about learing how to write properly? get an education my dear.....otherwise, perhaps it's a good idea to hide your ethnicity as I wouldn't want to be associated with such apparent ignorance....Cheers~L
