I say if you can find love, it shouldn't matter what color the person is, some people may never find a love in their same race, but that means it was meant for them to find it in another race. So people don't discriminate on race because you might miss out on true love!

mynamehere, you are a sad upset individual and I normally don't comment or even care about what folks have to say. AMEN to the post your name. We have come along way - and we shouldn't count our black brotha's out; there are some left - my son is one. Single, working and college grad....and he has a few material things too - look into the heart, mind not the material things that could be GONE in a BLINK of an eye.

there's alot of hatred on this message board! Don't feed into others ignorance! We have come so far in educating ourselves the movement is powerful. I don't care what others may say or even think about be for my desires of the heart which happen to be a black man all brother's aren't in jail or drug addict or on the DL still have love for their sista's. I refuse to allow such garbage be deposit into my vessell! I tell this to my daughters as well. We have some educated brothers out here don't count them out yet!!!!

I'm happy these ladies found love. All relationships have drama so let's not think inter-racial dating will give you a drama free life. I prefer dating black men just because I find them more attractive and comfortable to be around. I've never dated a "thug or drug dealer w/3 baby mamas" (I didn't know these terms were synomous references to black men). Most men I've date (who were black like myself) were similar to me respectful, educated, employed, spiritual, and open minded. I'm single currently and have tried dating a white man recently but I found he was only interested in having sex with a "black woman" and had racist views. So sista's please be careful when dating. White men are not better, Don't let your gaurd down for anyone.

I forgot to mention that my husband and I met when I was 18 married when I was 20 and began our family when I was 21 and we have been married for 30 years. We had to continue to support and nurture each other but most importantly things did'nt begin to come together in our relationship until we both let go and let God. He has to be first then everything else finds it's way. will there still be trials ,oh yes but they get easier because you have the strength of the Lord on your side. Seek out the Lord for your mate and He will decide who to send. It's up to you to be open to who He sends. Bless Ya'll

I'm glad I married a strong spiritual employed mans man who just happens to be black. I have 4 grown daughters and I would love for them to meet nice men like their father no matter what color the package is.
