Atlanta native Ciara, who’s been dubbed the “Princess of Crunk & B,” is excited about the release of her third album, “Fantasy Ride.”
“I try a lot of different musical styles on this album,” says Ciara. “I hope that everyone will enjoy this.”

I think bitches are crazy if they think beonce got anthing on ciara..ciara can danec,sing nd act somthin beonce can not do unless it has somthin 2 do wit singin,she was good n dream girls but her last movie would hav been better if she was not n it(lmfao)she can sing,she is pretty,yes she has a nice shape but she will never hav nothin on ciara..BOTTOMLINE!!!! I think it is ridiculous to invite Ciara to this lack-luster interview!?! Like other commenters said, you would never ask The Almighty Beyonce these type of questions and isnt Essence SUPPOSED to be about uplifting our own?? Everytime I see a Ciara interview, she is defending herself, not talking about her body of work. I see why she is struggling to get her shine on. This magazine has obvious favorites and little to NO room for anyone else. Just trashy. BTW, I can't help but notice Beyonce article thumbnails all over this page!? Hmmmm.....Won't be renewing my subscription either..
