We have the pics and the witnesses. He wasn't defending himself did you see the pictures and reinactant. He also came back apologizing and also was on Oprah talking about he watched his mother beat. That is the profile of an abuser.

Oh to all you fathers who say if that was my daughter I would want to lay hands on chris please make sure you teach your daughters not to hit a man numerous times with her hand or shoe. Neither men or women should lay hands on each other. I feel if a woman hits a man over and over she needs to be prepared to get hit back sooner than later. If a man is jumping on a woman just for the hell of it then thats different in my opinion. Domestic violence is a very serious issue and I pray all women who are truly in a domestic violence situation get the help they need and find the strength to leave.

I do not feel he "laid hands on her" to be laying hands on her like a real abuser. I believe he was defending himself and things went to far on BOTH ends. I do believe that she was hitting him as she also told the police that night even with her shoe. feel they both made bad choices and decisions that night which is what YOUNG folks tend to do. To me a true abuser beats on a woman just for breathing, saying the wrong thing, looking the wrong way shoot just for the hell of it. I do not believe that is the case with Chris. I feel this was a fight gone way to far. I feel this is why Rhianna wants this over ASAP cause she knows the real deal. I am not a young teeny bopper who is swooning over C Breezy. I just refuse to throw him under the bus or jail house over ONE ISOLATED incident that I still havent heard him speak on to tell his side. Men should not hit women and women should not hit men plain and simple. God Bless them BOTH!

My comment is not so much on CB and R....it is the statement about females being able to hit males and then the male is not suppose to react. Get a grip...I have 4 sons who are raised to respect woment, but if a woman is bold enough to hit a man, then she should be bold enough to take the ass whipping.. I don't mean to the point of severly hurting anyone, or taking their life...but the madness has to stop...men have just as much right to be respected as woment. The best thing to do is treat others as you want to be treated and then there would be no problmes.

I feel that under no circumstance should a man ever hit a woman and CB should not have hit R, this young man lived in a home where domestic violence was perpetrated. Abuse is a learned behavior. Since this is his first offense, I think that he need domestic violence counseling, community service work and educated on abuse. Everyone deserves a second chance. the late 70's and early 80's most of the groups did heavy drugs and alcohol. We still allowed them to perform. The list goes on and on. That doesnt change the fact that they have talent. We all have a past, we cannot condemn this child and throw him away for ever. This should be a learning experience for him. Now, after he has be educated on domestic violence and if he does it again, that means this is his choice and he should be given serious jail time. Again, I am not condoning his behavior, I just think he needs to be more educated on abuse and its effect.

There is two sides to every story. I heard that Rihanna also has a temper but it doesn't make her a bad person. Chris is a young black man who made a mistake in his life and should be allowed to fix it. They both need spiritual guidance. jesus forgives us everyday for our sins. I wish the best for the both of them. We all have our faults, it's up to us to address them to become a better person.
