I finally saw this movie, it wasn't like I expect it to be. First of all this is not a movie for childern. There were too many sex scenes (10 in all). The men who played Muddy Waters andLittle Walter did the best acting jobs next to Gabrielle Union. I hope Etta James didn't see this movie because it protrayed her in a very negative light. Also the timeframe was unknown, it tried to focus on too many different people's lives. It should've been promoted as the Muddy Waters story.

Beyonce! You and J rock and keep rockin! I would rather see you in the spotlight chasin' that paper and loving your man and your family, than chasin' the man knocked you up who could care less about you or your twin girls. I am also glad you are not asking for a handout with bad credit and a mountain of debt, yet trying to rock a designer bag. Thank you B for representing real black women!!

all the comments about Beyonce and how bad of an actor, singer, etc. just shows that we as a people will be the only ones to tear us as a race down. Stop wasting your time trying to damage each other and encourage each other. God Bless you all.

I don't know why so many people or should I say women hates beyonce. Let's remember people it's only entertainment, she's here to entertain not to please anyone. Rather than putting her down for her talent and hard work, everyone who had something negative to say about her should up lift her. As an African American woman, you don't see too many that successful, hard working, and talented in the music industry. She was blessed with the gift of singing, dancing, and even acting!!! Let her use what God gave her. Most of the people who are hating on her are wishing that they could be in her position or maybe have some insecurities about themselves. God gave us all a gift, so use what you have. Even though sometimes what people say does hurt, but at the end it will make you stronger and please believe, no matter what the haters say, she is going to continue to do her thing and make that money!!! So deal with it!!!!

This movie didn't come to any town near me and I live in a large city. I wonder was it any good? I've heard mixed reviews about the film and acting. I guess I have to rent the DVD.

THERE ARE A LOT OF THINGS BEYONCE' HAS TO ANSWER FOR. DID EVERYBODY FORGET HOW SHE TREATED HER FELLOW "DESTINY'S CHILD" MEMBERS? SHE AND HER FATHER ARE ALL ABOUT MONEY. IF YOU HAVE A FEW DOLLARS, THEY WILL SMILE AND GRIN WITH YOU. NO MONEY, NO SMILES. THIS IS WHY SHE MARRIED JAY-Z. HE HAS MONEY, HER FATHER ALWAYS DID MAKE SURE OF THAT. IF YOU GOT THE MONEY, YOU GOT THE POWER. I ONLY HOPE THEY REALIZE THAT WHEN YOU CLOSE YOUR EYES YOU CANT TAKE NOTHING WITH YOU AND YOU CANT BUY JESUS IN ORDER TO GET IN HEAVEN. ITS ONLY BASED ON YOUR FAITH IN GOD AND WHAT YOU DID ON EARTH TO PLEASE HIM. THERE IS NO PRETENDING IN HEAVEN BEYONCE'.

I just finished watching "Eyes on The Prize." When I look at where we as a people have come from, it is a shame how we still have not gotten off the plantation. The hatred among sistas is disgraceful. Whether it is Beyonce, Rihanna, Viveca, whoever, they are doing their thing. We as women must uplift one another, inspire each other. The nitpicking, slicing each other up, bad mouthing when will it end? Then we complain when white people don't respect us? We don't love nor respect ourselves. As a life coach, I empower, inspire and challenge women to be ALL they can be. Let us be life coaches for one another.

I must say that I am very proud of the accomplishments that Beyonce has made and other black americans but it is sad and embarassing that we are so negative and unsupportive of each other. I am a native of mississippi and I can proudly say that this state has grown. I have accomplished things in life because of the inspiring stories that my parents and grandparents told us as kids but I do not let these stories be an excuse to not reach goals and I teach my kids the same. Some of you need to educate yourselves on black history and quit letting the Willie Lynch syndrome make you negative and jealous of other Black peoples accomplishments.
