Actress Joy Bryant and stuntman Dave Pope wed on June 28, 2008, during an intimate evening ceremony in The Hamptons. The screen sweethearts met on the set of “Welcome Home, Roscoe Jenkins” and their hearts have been inseparable ever since. The couple prepares to celebrate their first wedding anniversary and we ask that you join us as we walk down memory lane and reminisce on their big day.

Rather nice wedding, although probably one of the cheapest ones I have ever seen, especially coming from a celebrity. I find it interesting too that she didn't have a close family member, such as a father, grandfather, uncle, etc. to walk her down the aisle. Normally the bride picks a person to walk them down the isle who is really important to them, so I gues Emil must be mighty important to her. It seems like most of her guest were just a bunch of celebrities, which doesn't make it seem really personal, just like some kind of celebrity party. The cupcakes idea is interesting, but a little odd; I guess I'm just really used to seeing the wedding cake. The groom is a cutey though!

Congrats to Joy and Dave!! I wish them the best and may God continue to bless their union. She looked beautiful and he is a very handsome brotha. This was simple and elegant at its best. There is nothing wrong with having simplicity instead of flash. Its too many people out here having million dollar weddings with a 10 cent relationship. Again, Sometimes I just can't understand why some of my sistas always have to carry on with the extra unwanted comments. You are so miserable and unhappy with yourself and you wonder why u can get or keep a man. Be happy and joyful for someone else. Why are so many of us so darn bitter? If you can't be happy and celebrate anyone else's blessings then what makes u think u will be blessed. Jealously and bitterness is such a sickness. Get it together please.

Someone actually commented on the bride's hair??????? Give me a break!!! She looked beautiful. If you even noticed, the theme was "relaxed." Gosh, stop picking on stupid stuff. Just say Congratulations and call it a day!!!

Beautiful, they didnt seem to care about the unimportant factors of weddings. They were focusing on enjoying thier day. Cute couple, can't wait to see thier kids.
