Yes, I agree some of these blondes do look more reddish or brownish tone (amerie, naomi campbell, faith, queen latifah, eve) to me as well. I've never bleached my natural hair however, I've experimented with a weave brown hair with gold highlights. It looked cute but was a hard color to pull off without makeup on. I prefer my off black curley hair. Dark hair makes me feel more comfortable and sexy as hell.

I'm a sister and I have never gotten my hair bleach and blonde isn't just for me.I think when a sister go blonde there not happy being a sister and that up set me.For example T-boz been blonde for ever she needs too change up.Beside everybody knows that blonde isn't black people natural hair.

Blonde is okay if it complements your skin, cause some of these "blonds" look like browns to me. Only certain people can pull off the platinum blonde thing. I ain't hating on Kimora cause I think she's beautiful but her hair looks like a wig; it's way too extreme and that's the reason I don't think it fits her. When her hair is black it's really shiny and it draws more attention to her. With that shade of blonde, it looks like she tried too hard. I think if she had a darker shade of blonde she could pull it off.

I agree with Deelady. I'm not feeling all the Blonde hair. It's cool for celebs to go blonde they look cute sometimes, but I do not enjoy seeing average sista's like myself with blonde hair. Not only does bleaching damage your hair, people will not take you seriously, it's unprofessional, and it does nothing for most of our complexions. I know women of color have a variety of hair colors naturally like: aurburn, reddish brown, black, off black, dark brown, sandy brown and even in rare cases yellow blonde. I just would like us to celebrate more natrual looks. Why can't dark hair be showcased?

can you please do a hair spread on locs, we rarely see kim fields and there are many other sisters who wear locs. Would you please spotlight those sisters we see enough of the others. ledisi,cassandra, lalah, diane reeves and many others.

If your skin color is amenable blonde, then by all means rock it! However, many women of color need to rethink the blonde thing. Some of us are made more for auburn and different shades of brown.

I think all the women looked very gorgeous as blonde. I like to see people thinking outside the box and not allowing anyone to tell them because they are part of a certain ethic group they cant go blonde.
