Black Men and White Women: Does It Still Matter?

I stumbled upon this page linked from a poetry site,.... and BAM! This conversation is INTENSE... In the midst of all this talking.... what about love? Has anyone considered that people FALL IN LOVE regardless of what race they are? It happens people. Christ. Isnt that what date'n is all about? Love? connection? It isnt always about sex is it? God there is MUCH more racial tension then I thought on this subject. I guess I was naive. When I see to people together who obviously love each other, and they are of different races... it makes me happy. BECAUSE THEY ARE IN LOVE. Skin color is incidental to love. Im in love with a black man and Im a white women. He loves me. Whats wrong with love? If everyone is the same, why isnt it okay to be with who ever you choose? Life is to short for all this hatred. This @$!#? is just silly.

the other part of the point,stupid, is that black women can't choose better mates because a lot of the "good black men" are with nonblack women. so your talk about black women choosing better mates is a fallacy. there is a shortage, you dumb ass. and a lot of shortage is in fact due to the interracial dating among black men although it is increasing among black women and rightfully so. But, again black women like you choose to close your eyes and instead blame black women yourself. YOU MORON.

Whatever, but the funny thing about your point is the fact that most women including black women like bad boys. Until we stop choosing bad boys over real men, the thugs aren't going nowhere regardless of whether black men who are interracially dating or marrying comes back to the black women. So, at the end of the day, it is us black women's responsibility to choose better mates. It's wrong to blame the black men for our mistakes when it comes to this part.

Girl, I barely weigh 135 lbs with clothes on, and it would be funny if you are a 250 lb black woman behind the computer screen calling someone else fat. You are not just stupid. You are irrationally stupid. One thing I know is that your solution wouldn't come close to fixing our society problems. Let's say if the black men interracially dating came back to us; what would we do about the thugs? I'm sure they wouldn't have any problem shooting, killing us, and destroying any projects we bring to help. Like I said earlier, there is no way you can have a man, let alone a white man posting the garbage you do. To Dawn Girl: You are bonkers stupid. The number of black men dating non-black women are a lot lower than the black thugs, drug users, and criminals terrorizing our black society. So, once again, how are good black men who are interracially dating or not responsible for the violence and self-hate we see amongst one another?
