Before he was making moves in Hollywood, Will Smith was making us move on the dance floor. “Summertime” by Fresh Prince and Jazzy Jeff has got to be the quintessential summer anthem. Nearly 20 years after its release, the 1991 song still has us nodding our heads and singing along: “Summer, summer, summertime; let’s just sit back and unwind.”

Well I was looking for MY all-time favorite "Flashlight" on the dance tunes list ...... and as other posters stated any thing by the Isley Brothers etc..and music of the 70s for me i.e., Al Green, Gladys Knight, ...Have they forgotten???? We slow danced too..... But anyway this is THEIR list and NOT mine..LOL

Who made up this list? This list is not for the women who read Essence but for the young folks who read the hip hop magazines. No O'Jays, Earth Wind and Fire, I could go on and on!!! So Sad that no real music is listed only songs that have been copied by the great artist of our time!!! That's all music is today where are all of the bands gone!!!
